Oh man, your lucky your first album is Skylarking. The best. I say try getting Drums + Wires, to get into early New Wavey-Poppy XTC, and try out either apple venus vol. 1 or nonsuch for their later stuff, some of those songs are great. Also try out the dukes of strat. CD, it's pure genius.

Well, it happened again, my G string broke. (No pun intended). Even though this is only the second time, all my other strings are like steel. So at the moment, I have 3/4 extra strings (E,A,D) because I had to buy a full set, and I really don't want to do that again. Can I buy single strings...

Ok, wait a second. I wouldn't really call Led Zep a heavy metal band, or even a metal band for that matter...they're the pioneers of metal don't get me wrong, but they are more hard rock in my mind.

Ok, thanks for the input guys, I knew I needed guidance, b/c I've never recorded in a studio before. Most of my songs are actually around 2 min., I don't know if that matters, and from the editing standpoint, I don't have many effects to put on my tunes, so i don't know if the editing will take...
