I've heard good reports of the Epiphone Valve Junior 5 watts tube one knob (volume) Legacy also do one the same - probably rebadged. I got my son a Roland Cube 30 watts which has a really nice clean sound and some servicable modelling and effects. Both these are inexpensive.

No. What you can do though is play the harmonic and then slide it up and down... of limited use but sure sounds good.

I recommend getting at least a few lessons from a guitar teacher. I always had problems with the thin little strings on guitars and always pushed them out of tune (ham fisted). A little bit of guidance on the technique has helped me immensely.

That's just what I've been looking for too. Now I can fudge a Percy Jones imitation even though I have cloth ears (well, at least I can try).
