Does the bottom of the bass sit on the floor?

One more quick thought. . . Although passive, this bass packs a punch with the MFD’s and I don’t suppose many would want to add a preamp here. YMMV.

Hey, Mr. Lenny Never opened this up, but have no reason to believe there would be room for a battery as this is a totally passive bass. The pic below would support that belief. Suppose you could always route one yourself.
