I own two Kilotons--a USA and a Tribute. I have argued with myself for a long time about adding a single coil pickup to the Tribute in a "Mid" position, as you have. My plan was to wire the pickups V -V using a concentric pot set for the individual volume controls and keeping the stock electronics the same for the MFD humbucker and passive tone control.. My imagination tells me that I should also wire in a master volume since I prefer basses with a master volume. I could run it down to the lower horn. I did something similar with a Squier Paranormal 54 Jazz Bass I have. But isn't a set of concentric volume pots kinda like a master volume anyway? Sorry, I digress. I'm still in the "arguing-with-myself" stage, and as usual I'm losing the argument. Good luck with your sale! ) but I came across this Seafoam Pearl Green JB strung w/ DR Black Beauties on Craigslist. In the pictures it looks more blue than green, but in person you can really see how green it is. Love the color, and haven't seen a lot of basses in it. Popped up about 5 miles from work, so naturally I just HAD to go and take a look at it. Just a look, uh huh. Long story short, $300 later the JB and a Fender gig bag came home with me. Not a mark on it - it looks brand new. Perfect set-up on it, and the pups seem a lot hotter than the Squier JB I used to have.
