I figured as much. £300 a pair :-/ The speakers were working when it was put in storage - could the damp etc have corroded the voice coils?

So, the bulbs came and I've got them in. I plugged the cab into an amp, and..... nothing. I've checked continuity right from the amp output all the way to the speaker terminals and it's ok. The "9v battery on the speaker terminals trick" gives a slight click but no cone movement. Clicks once...

Closer inspection says the single bulb is a 211-2, but assuming the double unit was put there Incorrectly by the previous repairman, can I safely assume that this is correct?

Well, I'm not sure. It was last repaired about 13 years ago and I can't even remember what caused it and how the conversation went. I was probably thrashing the arse off it though 😂 I've since matured.....
