A question for the speaker experts - PA content, however....

Hi Jim.

Don't know about the expert part, but those look like the normal budget cabs floating around.

Well, floating may be somewhat misleading, the broken handle may tell You something about their quality and/or the weight.

The bottoms do look a lot like the classic TL606 designs.

Hardly used, some cosmetic wear = toured to hell, and back. IME anyway.

The price is tempting, but You'll need at least one stereo power amp and a cross over of some sort to run these. You'll also need an EQ, preferably dual 31 band. Those will set You back more than a more modern set of speakers would.

You might also consider the price of 2 15" replacements as well as 2 12". If there's a piezo driver, not a compression driver in the horn, You'll be SOL unless You find an exact match.

If You can snipe 'em for less than £150, I'd go for it. Test them before handing the money though.

Regards
Sam
