Thanks for the advice. I'll go with packing my basses, guitars, and amps (removing tubes) up and sending with the moving company. My oldest basses and my B-15N (with tubes removed) will go in the SUV, along with my dogs, and wife.

So my wife and I are moving cross country to be closer to our grandkids. The move is from Cailfornia to Maryland. Need advice on the best way to move my basses/guitars (5 basses /8 guitars) and amps (4) biggest amps being a Ampeg an a Ampeg BA1152 and a B-15N. Need suggestions/advice on moving...

Nice. Glad you're ok. Back in the day I pulled a Keef Richards. Plugged into my Ampeg V4B walked up to the mic and saw God. Quickly discovered the polarity switch was there for an important reason.

Forty years ago I used a Fender P-bass and a RIC 4001. Played through an Ampeg V4B, with a Sound City 2X15 cab, or an Ampeg B-15N. Simple, but effective.

Down here in the Florida Keys we have a restaurant that calls them, "little furry fish." Always get them on the combo pizza.

The sound. You play a P-bass, with flats, through a B-15 and it sounds perfect. Can you duplicate that sound with other amps, basses, Pre-amps, absolutely. But, it just wouldn't be as cool.

Can I use the headphone jack on an amp without having a cabinet. Thinking about picking up one of the Ampeg Venture V7 heads, but not set on what cabinet to buy. Still would like to use the head though.
