    I find cutting the lows as well as the lower mids (around 200-to 300) while raising the uppermids around 900- to 2000. Then cut the highs back just a little. Mud builds up pretty easy in the lower mids.

    Just got my new M9 and two 212 cabs Today. Amp is Monsterous. I have a question slash problem. When my compressor is on I get a loud Hum. And that's without my instrument cable even being plugged in.

    4 weeks ago I ordered a mesa m9 and two 212 cabs. Really pumped to get it. Kinda bummed though!!!! I was told by the store that it would be in by now. Called the other day only to find Mesa says the end of July. Is this normal to wait almost 3 months on a Mesa Amp.????

    Thunder funk looks cool. Find it weird that you pay $2100 for the Head. But have to order the power cord separately.

    Looking at Three amps 1. Hartke kilo 2. Mesa M9 3. Paul jones M500 I need a rig that will cut through in a band setting while keeping a clean tight low end. Thanks in advance for your suggestions

    Use to play the Slow wounds... And then they stopped producing them. I was very disappointed. And struggled with strings, Until I found Dr's Lo-riders.... ( guess I'm a Hex core kinda guy). Anyone try the 120 E strings? I'm interested. Plus can you use the 120 on a standard nut???

    New Fender Select Active Jazz Bass

    Tried an active Select the other day at a store. I a/b it with a Deluxe... I found the neck on the Deluxe to be thick and uncomfortable...the select had a smaller neck that was easy to play and solo...definitely would love to get one of these...
