    Club Alleva-Coppolo (Part 21)

Beautiful! Is that Sherwood Green? If so, I demo'd one very similar to it last year - a truly remarkable instrument!

Well played! Your Emperor II sounds (and looks!) delicious!

For me, I liked the Duncans more, specifically because I thought they had richer lower mids compared with the BigRigs. But to each their own. I think what you've got spec'd sounds incredible - I am sure you will love it!

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

Sure! Here's a clip of the Duncans, and here's a clip of the BigRigs. Both clips are in passive mode, with virtually no EQ-ing. The first bass was strung with flats, and the second was strung with tapewounds, which is worth highlighting, I think.

I've had two Foderas, both with the Garrison pickup spacing; the first had Duncans, and the second had Nordstrand BigRigs. I primarily played with the neck pickup soloed, and the short version is that I preferred the sound of the Duncans. It's worth saying that even though the Duncans allow you...

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

Hey everybody, I placed my order for Fodera number 3 back in February, and thought I'd share it with you guys. Specs: 5-String MG Imperial Elite 33" 17.5 mm 26 frets Walnut body/ alder tone block (slightly thinner body than usual to help shave off a bit of weight) Three piece maple neck...

I used the Fusion Urban Bass Guitar Bag with my first two Foderas, and loved it! Curiosity got the better of me and I replaced my Fusion with a Mono Vertigo - I didn't much care for it, so recently got another Fusion! Few things that I particularly like about the Fusion case: 1. It has padding...

+1 for Wise. I've bought and sold a couple of instruments (including a Fodera) internationally using Wise, and it was straight forward. Takes maybe 20 minutes to set up your account, but then sending/ receiving money is really easy.

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

Really appreciate your input, @LakeEffect - thank you! My first Fodera had a walnut body/ alder toneblock, and I loved how it sounded. That said, it was very heavy, and after playing for a couple hours or after a day of travel with it on my back, my back would be killing me. Perhaps there's...

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

I'm still deciding... Got a few more months to lock everything in, but it will be a passive 5-sting MG Imperial Elite. Few things I can't decide on (e.g. think I want a walnut body, but concerned about weight; thought about going semi-hollow, but worried it will negatively impact the...

Congratulations! I'm also waiting for 2 years... It's going to be like that scene from the Simpsons where Homer is waiting for his gun
