I used white fingernail polish and a toothpick. The polish will wear off eventually or I can just gently rub it off.

Just buy some rubber washers from a hardware store, cheap and universal. ;)

I like it! I can dime it and dig in and it just growls like a dog. Tung oil! I wanted something different then all my other basses as far as finishes go

My B50 Went with a simple build. A tad lighter then 9.5 on a bathroom scale. Crappy pics with a crappy camera.

I would go with the Carvin, give it the 10 trial, return it if you don't like it and then get the Fender. You will be out of 20% restocking fee though.

Been using the rubber washers as straplock for about a year and a half now myself. They work like a charm. :cool:
