I just sold an SVT-4Pro and bought a Little Mark II. Couldn't be happier.

I use Finger-ease string lubricant on both my strings and the back of the neck every week or so and am happier with the results I get from using it than not using it.

Yes, good idea! Many of the most famous recorded guitar tones you're familiar with were tracked through smaller combo amps, though not necessarily really small practice amps. If you're really happy with your sound through the microbass by all means throw a mic on it and see how it sounds...
