Basses with aggressive PJ pickup position

I put a J in the 70s position and it’s aggressive. But the pickups matter as well. I’m using a +5% overwound Lindy Fralin P pickup and a +10% J which Lindy recommended to balance better.

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

I hear you there but with the Anagram I'm literally down to just that one pedal because I was able to make good captures of all my fuzz pedals. So now I can gig (just church right now) in just a gig bag with the pedal inside. I'd want to do something similar with the QC Mini if that were an...

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

The mini is interesting to me. I jumped shipped from the HX Stomp + analog pedal board for the Anagram when it came available and it's been really good for me. The main reason I was able to finally move to full digital model/capture was that NAM captures were finally able to get good captures...

    Lightweight bass for longer sets

Another vote for the Sandberg SL. Mine is 6.2lb. I was struggling with a pained back and the Sandberg has helped a ton. Sounds really good as well. Defies physics kind of.

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Yes, so I've noted that in the text description of the capture packs that are impacted - but that Mastotron one I noted that I'm turning down the "Output" paramater of the NAM Pedal block to -10 to match the original capture volume. So in the Anagram my chain has a NAM Pedal block and the FX...

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

So I'm using Ableton and my NAM test signal is on a track going out on the Anagram output 9 - that's the virtual input back into the Anagram. Then I'm recording simultaneously on input 1 on a second channel. That recorded channel then is exported in mono and becomes my track. One thing to...

Bass build wood choice and other stuff.

I posed a similar question on here citing the same Sandberg finish. I got a lot of great answers here: Anyone know a builder who does sandblasted / ceruse finish? I was close to moving forward with MJT (I’ve used them twice before) but someone on here contacted me with a used Sandberg for sale...

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Just wanted to share that I had a bit of a breakthrough with my Anagram today. I've been testing various methods of capturing my own pedals via NAM with mixed success. Sometimes I'd get good results, but it took a lot of experimentation gain staging along the way. I had the most success using...

Anyone know a builder who does sandblasted / ceruse finish?

You guys are great - there's a lot more great options here than I was aware of. Also the DIY approach I hadn't considered since I haven't full gotten into tinkering with finishes, but it looks relatively simple. That said, another TB member reached out selling a very similar Sandberg bass to...

Anyone know a builder who does sandblasted / ceruse finish?

Wow, you're right. I see a couple similar examples on their website. That's great. I've got a couple MJT bodies already so I'm familiar with the quality. Thank you for pointing this out!

Anyone know a builder who does sandblasted / ceruse finish?

Hey all, I've recently become obsessed with the textured sandblasted look - specifically of Sandberg basses like this: I really want a bass like that but with a roasted maple P neck. Any of the Sandberg's that I can find that aren't like a year out for delivery have a narrower nut width. I...

Do I need two blender pedals if I want to blend dry signal into two pedals?

Simplest solution is just putting both pedals, inline, into the same send/return path of a clean blend bypass looper. Then before you click on the looper to open the path up, choose which one you want. That assumes that the same clean blend level is good for both pedals, of course.
