I replaced a 15" 4 Ohm speaker in a carvin RL115 cabinet with an 8 Ohm 15" so I could pair this cabinet with a 210 Peavey cabinet. I wanted to keep the impedance correct for the amp.

Does a Sterling SUB SB4 count for acceptance into this club?:)

July 5th gig. The band called me about a week before the gig needing a bass player. Had to learn about 30 new songs. It all worked out!!

I have a pewter Squier MB-4 P/J. Swapped out the stock pickups for GF hot P and J's.

I have 3 at our rehearsal space. The 2 heads share the cabs depending on the gig. Amps: Peavey Minimax Behringer BX3000T Ampeg BA-115 Combo Cabs: Peavey 210 Headliner Carvin RL-115

I have the black with maple neck. Excellent build quality I upgraded the pickup with an Aguilar AG4M and left the stock preamp.

I've used this 2x10 combination at my last 2 gigs. Both times through FOH and stage monitors.

I have the same one. An SB4. Light weight well built. I added an Aguilar AG4M pickup!! It's my favorite bass.

I can try that before swapping out the pot. Thanks

It's definitely wired V/B/T. The blend is a double gang stacked pot with a center detent. I ordered an MN taper blend pot. when it arrives I'll swap it out and see if it changes.

After doing some looking around on TalkBass, I found out what might be the problem. It looks like Squier installed a balance pot. The markings on it said A500K. The thread I found said an MN500K dual gang MN taper would work correctly in the center detent position and give 100% on both pickups...
