How many rigs are you actively using, what are they?

Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2, Barefaced One10 and One10T with an Alembic Spoiler from 85, Eve IONA made in Scotland and
an Ibanez SRMS 800 multi scale. Next year I plan to get a Sire Z3, color undecided. I'm hoping more
colors appear.

Fender Bassman 400 combo for rehearsals.

MarkBass Little Mark II into a 4x10 MarkBass cab for shows.

Also have an Ampeg SVT350, Hartke LH500 and a Peavey 410TVX for the "just in case" moments.

The GB was my only rig for close to 15 years and I loved it. The super light Rumble just seems to win when it comes to load the car. The Uber 212 is a relatively light cab. I really need to take it out. It still sounds amazing.

I have a modular amplification setup, consisting of two different rack mounted stereo power amps: A Crest CA9 and a Yamaha PX5.


I currently have four different rack mounted preamps:
A Demeter HBP-1, a Tech 21 Sansamp GED-2112, a Tech 21 Sansamp RBI, and a Jack Read Purity Tube preamp.

I have a pair of Mesa PH212’s, a Bergantino HT210 and an HT115, and a Mesa PH610. I rarely play out, but my bandmates and I are planning on playing local outdoor festivals. I choose which pair of my speaker cabinets based on how much stage volume that I need for each occasion.

And my third rig is an Aguilar TH500 head and a pair of Aguilar GS112s. I use this setup quite a bit when I’m asked to sit-in with a couple of different local bands.

Demeter 400D amp direct into our PA system and then to IEMs. I have a RevSound 1x12 cabinet, but I've never used it for a gig.

I'm down to two, from four a year-and-a-half ago. My Big Rig® is on permanent loan to a recording studio 1,500 miles away from my new home (and tbh I don't ever foresee needing a rig that size any time between now and when I die), and my Polytone MiniBrute III combo amp is sitting in the corner gathering dust, untouched since I moved it here ~18 months ago.

So that leaves me with the Mini Rig Of Doom®which consists of an Acoustic Image Focus 1 Series II head driving a pair of Flite Sound cabinets: a 1x12" loaded with an Altec-Lansing 601 that was re-coned as a fullrange driver, and a 1x15" loaded with an Eminence Delta 15LFA.

And then the Even Mini-er Rig Of Doom® is basically just the Flite 1x15" cab (from above) driven by a tc electronic BQ500.

Always the same pedals/pre and power, but the cab choice is venue specific. I have 5 cabinets, an EV/Eminence 2x10, 2-1x15’s loaded with Eminence Kappalites, and 2 with EVM 15b’s. Mix and match.
All runs off a Crest CA9, soon to be a Crest Prolite 5.0

For most gigs, I use a Milkman Half & Half 700 with a Barefaced Two10. I recently put together a micro rig which consists of an Ampeg V3 with a Barefaced One10. I play a '78 Jazz Antigua (with tasty period mods) and use a Noble DI in every case, whether my own gear or backlined.

hmmm. I guess I have to vote 3(ish) in regular use.

All rigs get the output of my pedal board: Cali76CB => Tech21 VT => Noble DI (with my wired IEM setup)

1. Home rig: Mesa Walkabout into a Berg NV212t. rarely gets gigged because the exceptional NV212t is heavy (ceramic drivers) so its mostly a home
studio practice and recording rig.

2. Primary gig rig: Mesa WD800 into a Berg CN112 or CN212 depending on how much rig I need for the gig when I provide the stage gear.

3. Pedalboard above into FOH. I'm trying to do more IEM/no amp/cab gigs. This is also my fly rig (small pedalboard + bass).

In fairness, I also have other rigs at various band rehearsal spaces, which usually get used weekly, but I'm only counting gig rigs here.

2 GK 400RB's and a Genzler Magellan 350 paired with either a Hartke 210XL, A Genz LS112T or Trickfish TF112. All depends on if the gig is indoors, outdoors, size of the stage, acoustics etc. Also depends on whats already in the garage/downstairs and quickest to grab for the gig.

Two rigs, all Ampeg, in a mix-and-match kind of way:

PF-50t head
2 x PF-112hlf cabs
RB-108 combo, which I have modded (don't try this at home as it will void your warranty ) with an 8 ohm Fane Sovereign speaker and a parallel extension socket so I can use it with one of the cabs. Sounds pretty impressive for 30 watts and is still a good combo on its own.

2- Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2 with a Darkglass DG 112N for smaller ones.
