Added this stately Upton fellow to my life, and boy am I happy I did. I have a long way to go learning to play it well, but I rarely walk by it without stopping to try for a bit.

The seller, Max George, had nothing but good things to say about Upton as a company and Eric and Gary as people, so I suppose that's a worthy addition to this conversation as well.

How do you dig that cord? I swear I stand still but inevitably look down and have about lasso'd myself a few tunes in. Does it twist up like an old phone cord? That would drive me even more nutty, but I am considering getting one to try it out.

For the briefest of moments I felt like I had the basses covered. Then I remembered that I absolutely need a 6 string, a double bass, and also it would be a heinous insult to the blessing of my existence if I didn’t own a Rick 4003 before the the big one arrives.

I am going to have to do some serious digging under couch cushions to even half-ass Alembic this project. :wacky:
