What neck did it come with?New (used) bass day! Fender Precision Special. Arrived yesterday and I already changed the neck to a Mighty Mite fretless.View attachment 5458824
Came with a fretted "Fender Precision Bass Special" neck. Nothing wrong with it, I just have enough (!) fretted basses. Here is a picture of "before."What neck did it come with?

Which one? Fretted or fretless? The fretted may have been snagged already! You can have the fretless if you can pry it from my cold dead hands...^^^jonesing for that neck^^^![]()
Added this stately Upton fellow to my life, and boy am I happy I did. I have a long way to go learning to play it well, but I rarely walk by it without stopping to try for a bit. View attachment 5460170

You lost a headstock. I recommend you keep that axe away from your other basses!Well, I've sold the 1979 Roadster, and kind of felt I was going to go ahead with just two basses. Thing is yesterday I decided against just keeping two, and got me another one. For a fraction of the Ibanez' cost, mind you. You can see it down in the middle. It's a nice headless (my very first one) that was made by Terra Avstralis Guitars, far down in Santiago de Chile, in South America. You can have a look at the guitars and basses they create at tavstralis.com or their FB page. So far I am loving it, and next week I will be installing a set of Entwistle Jazz bass pickups instead the stock ones.
