Appeared to be completely flat to me and from what I had read in research on these necks they are oiled and nothing else. Next step if it does rub off would be a more intrusive refinish on it, but we'll see how it goes.

Ernie Ball sells the string mutes kit too. You might wanna add that to the Ray4 style bridge. Makes for a nice upgrade…..

I think he relocated if I’m not mistaken. And still is doing jobs but not as many. Not totally sure on that though.
