It's hiding a jazz pickup and the original bridge. Just had to modify the bridge a bit but it works . Little odd looking but I've grown to like it.

We should not be disparaging any ones style of play! Maybe a little guidance or instruction would be more helpful ! No one here ,or no one that as ever been here on talk bass is above learning and improving!
