The one I put up has the cap grounded to the volume. Still technically the same since it's grounded together anyways. Someone could have set it up like a 51 P, with the 15K resistor.

A good musician can spruce up a sound clip, and make a just about any pickup sound better. That's why I prefer the hands on approach; I would just buy them, and try them. That way you can hear how it sounds played through your amp.

I second lz4005 and acebass62; the no load's and the TBX, both remove the cap from the circuit. With the Fender TBX you can also split the tapers and use 2 different cap values, like a concentric pot without the stacked knobs.
