Hi all. I am a total chowder head and took this bass apart to paint it now i can't get the electronics to work right. It works but both pots turn volume off. Boo! HELP!!!

62 MIJ reissue P bass diagram needed

Thanks but that is not it I have a resistor from pot to pot it's close but not quite it. Thank for help though
That's identical to what I posted. Neither diagram, and nor any P bass diagram I have ever seen, has any resistors, however.
The one I put up has the cap grounded to the volume. Still technically the same since it's grounded together anyways. Someone could have set it up like a 51 P, with the 15K resistor.
