Update: the ABY Box it's doing its job pretty well, no issues about it. That said, my next problem was that my IR's were sounding to "boomy" and even lacking of growl. I even intend to blame my marvelous IR Box! Reading this topic again, I came along with @stubbsonic @ETJ and @Bevan777...

IMHO it’s a matter of how are you feeling with the 5th string… If you reach that groove and mojo playing it. For me, no 5er can beat a solid 4-string J or P bass (in that order) yet.

Same here, it’s like mandatory to have a just-in-case 5 string bass for giggin’ But I had installed a Xtender Tuner in my main bass so that poor 5er hasn’t gone live yet.

I tested my Aguilar TH on the effects loop and I didn't like the result. Now I'm going straight into my 200c Rumble input but with the eq on "true-flat" settings. Check out this post

Added an ABY box to split the signal. Signal “A” goes to the IR Box and then to the FOH. Signal “B” isn’t affected by the IR and goes directly to my Fender Rumble 200c. Let’s see how it works on tomorrows gig. Long Live M-Vave!
