Got one, plugged into a TL w/jbl 15" . Sounds awesome. Have not giged with it yet but intend to. Every bit as loud as necessary and tone is nice. Amazing sound from a really tiny package.

The Thunderbird is by far the best Gibson IMO. The 2 x 2 headstock is too small for bass and too flimsy. It just does not work. Now, that aside, a Thunderbird through a classic SVT is one of the best live bass sounds ever.

An honest 100 watts, with the matching 2-15" Sunn copy cab it was very strong.

Upon initial installation the A,D, and G were much louder and had more treble than the E.

Put them on 4 years ago and did not like. I put the Bass away and I guess they aged. I pulled it out the other evening for a rehearsal, just for fun and played with a pick it sounds like all attack, tons of bottom with zero sustain, like having a mute on. A great sound!!

Plexus plastic cleaner is the best stuff I have ever used. Not easy to find. It adds real depth to the finish that you have to see to believe. Sorry, it is not a tone enhancer.

That would be hard to trust without a block of dry ice and a squirrel cage fan. But, I could be wrong. Entry level electronics with the output rated 600 watts at 2 ohms seems like an over-rated 150 watt amp. Another manufacturer was famous for that kind of charade.

600 watts @ 2 ohms? Seriously? Who would do that? Sounds like an invitation to a weenie roast.
