I cannot overstate how amazing this bass is! Perfect on every level. The oil finished neck is next level too. I just want to keep playing it all the time.

Total wait time from deposit to completion was right around 16.5 months. To be honest I don’t know if I was quoted an official build time. I think I just assumed about 12 months based on what others had been saying. Roger seems pretty positive about the movement of the shop now, so hopefully...

I’ve got both, a Japanese metro WL and a Chinese metro express. I much prefer the 1 3/4 but the metro express is still a great bass and for $700 it wasn’t a deal breaker. For my NYC that is almost ready, 1 3/4 was the only size I would consider.

Anybody out there have a Sadowsky guitar? I really want to commission a purple Prince style Tele (one that doesn’t ejaculate of course lol). I think that would be a really awesome way to honor two legends at the same time. All to the specs Prince wanted in his Sadowsky Teles (not the Hohner copies).

Yessir! Ebony and a roasted maple neck was a must for me. Roger talked me into okume and I’m positive it will not disappoint.

It’s a custom color Roger and I came up with. I wanted trans aqua, but that wasn’t going to turn out very well on okume. So we landed on this shade, and it did not disappoint!

Got an update on my build today! I think the color turned out great! And the roast is quite nice too… just about 3 more weeks now. d
