Getting rid of a pedal, then purchasing it again?

I hoard basses nowadays. It's a reaction to being a young broke muso, when I stupidly, regularly sold one bass to be able to afford to buy another and often regretted it. Worst example was letting go of a beautiful custom made John Birch 'Rickenbacker, caramel sunburst with maple neck. I could...

Mmm...done this a few times, but rather consigned them to drawers in the studio than get rid. But what I'm probably going to do is double up on one. I just love my Hartke bass attack pedal, but it's been through the wars over the years and I'm considering getting a back up.

Best 80’s bass players to admire sonically

Colin Moulding is one of the finest bass players for me. Melodic, inventive, wonderful player.

John Taylor was hugely influenced by Chic and Bernard Edwards, I loved that style of playing.

Funky - regarding the Gravity 8, you're probably about right with the 100 made. They certainly didn't make it for long.

Blast off- you're top geezer and no mistake. I was tempted to scream "I am not a number, I am a free man!!!" -but I had a glass of warm milk and I'm all right now - NUMBER 29 AND PROUD!

    GK MB 200: Part Two

It does look ridiculous, doesn't it? :-) I'm debating whether to just hide the amp behind my cab altogether!! Going to upgrade to the 800w next month - at least that's about an inch wider! haha!

    GK MB 200: Part Two

Right, so I flew over to the UK for a show last weekend and ran the Hartke bass attack through the MB200 into a 4 ohm Peavey 15" cab ...no problems whatsoever, great level and tone. -which leads me to believe my problem lies in power fluctuations here in Spain - the voltage is notoriously fickle...

I've looked through the Fernandes catalogues for the whole of the 90's (it seems to say generally online its a 90's bass) - but can't find anything called an APB 90.....It really looks like a 4 string version of my FRB 100.

John- I agree. Thats why I used a standard Crown power amp, I don't think it impinges on what the MB200 is offering you, producing 'uncoloured' extra clout.
