I also think it depends on what speaker cab/combo u use. Some cabs will make the GK sound awesome and some the Carvin. I also think "your" brand is always based on bias. If 2 heads are virtually the same, and the differences are small, then the choice is bassed on price and reliability. I...

You sure did! This is something a lot of us have wanted to be able to do, but this is the first time I've heard of anyone finding someone to do it! I've attempted to make a cab like this, but with my skills, that didn't work! LOL

Don charges $459.00 + around $30 for shipping for this exact cab, which is way worth it. These speakers are 200 watts each and get down to about 40 Hz. They move a lot and can handle the lows very well. He only charges half up front as a dep then the other half at delivery! The BX500...
