All - I am looking for a Hipshot BT4 for a 99 pbass. I have searched several places and have had zero results. It is my understanding the BT8 will not fit. Any help you guys and gals could give in locating one of these is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

That is not a bad price for a T-40 these days, depending upon the condition of course. Mine is old and has battle scars, but it still has a very sweet tone. It basically sounds like a Rick and a PBass had a love child. If you're digging it, buy it. You won't be disappointed!

I always have a pick on standby, in case of a cramp or if a song just needs the sound and feel of a pick. Other than that, fingers and or thumb all the way.

Get the MM. No reason to buy the MIA P when your content with the MIM version.

Absolutely! My first bass was a 71 Sunburst PBass. Didn't sell it, but traded it for a 74 Jazz. Then sold the Jazz bass to friend of mine a few years down the road. Wish I had either one or both of them back.
