that MPG looks killer. if it had block inlays (i like the look and visual reference of inlays), i'd pull the trigger.

good question. i stepped on the scale with the schecter last night and the scale said 9.2 pounds, although it feels much closer to 10. so really, anything less than 9 pounds, if well balanced.

It is an excellent sounding amp, and a great buy at $299 new, which is what i paid for it, so its an even better value at $120. Since i've had mine, i haven't had any trouble with the b channel. I've only had some problems with bad tone at higher volume levels, but i think this has more to do...

i have a schecter elite-5. they are on sale for $499 right now at GC/MF. great sounding and well built-instrument if you want an active bass.

yes, speaker cable. i have an abundance of speaker cable, but not instrument cable, so i was wondering if i could use the extra speaker cable as instrument cable. i know its bad to use instrument cable in place of speaker cables, but i've searched and not found an answer to what happens if...
