I can say I've regretted selling pretty much every bass I've ever sold, and never regretted buying one. At this point I have the, uh, bases covered, and I also play guitar, so I have some real problems.

I guess I'm part of this club now! I got a 2010 or so Thunderbird at a reasonable price. I've been playing it for a while, but only am giving it a setup today, I got the bridge off there and put on a Hipshot, so it's all got to be redone. I like it!

Oh, I like the new headstock that G&L has. I think it looks sharp. It's clear that the Kiloton would offer me a lot more sonic variety than the L-1000 would. I guess I could buy the L-1000, then sell either that or the SB-1 depending on which one I liked better.
