Can you test impedance without removing the speaker and just using the DMM to read Ohms on the tip and ring of the speaker cabinet 1/4" plug. If so, would roughly the same values be expected: 4 ohm driver reads about 3.5 ohms and the 8 ohm driver reads about 6 ohms?

Glad to finally join the club. Just got my first Fender Rumble. A Rumble 40 v3 a couple of weeks ago. Way beyond my expectations. Just wanted something easy to grab and take to jams with friends. Guitar Center was running a sale on them for $179.

I love the look of the wall hung instruments, but living in California am fearful what even a relatively minor earth shaker could do to them. Most stay in their cases, and the ones getting current attention on a couple of floor stands (the non-hanging type:)).

I've heard lots of opinions on this subject and was hoping to get some clarification. A great deal of sources seem to indicate the bridge on the 2018 Stingray Specials is aluminum. But in my research it still appears to be a chrome plated steel bridge, but is just smaller in physical dimensions.

Scored a Bag End D10BX-D in like new condition about a year ago for $250 with a really nice custom cover. Amazing sounding 2x10 cabinet. The great deal was likely because it is about 75 lbs.
