I've never seen or heard of those closet hangers before. That'd be a GREAT option for my music room setup. Got a little research to do. Thanks for the idea.

They seem more "general purpose" than instrument specific, but if they work, they work. I'd try em, especially at that price.

Well, i do hang them up, but they're scattered all over the place so showing pictures of the setup would be more of a tour around the house than inspiration haha
All three are hanged by the neck (K&M 16250). No issues, no worries.If so, I’d love to see some pics of your set ups for some inspiration as I prep to hang all mine up!
(I did Google it, but too many guitars, eww)

Thank you, as this was my COVID-19 lockdown project last year.
Scheduled the build right before the shutdown occurred.
Purchased everything and shoved all material in my 2 car garage and was able to keep my sanity during all the chaos.
Its been worth all the effort and monies I’ve spent.
I can see how that might be true, from an engineering standpoint. But I've never had any issues, I assume because the weight of the instruments isn't great enough to put undue stress on the hangers.
I've been using them about 6 months. They're made specifically to hang guitars on a closet rod. They can be twisted in any shape you need, I adjusted mine to get my basses closer together, and tightened the part that goes around the neck a little.
I'm seeing a lot of people mention earthquakes. This risk can be mitigated by not storing anything above your basses.
If earthquakes are strong enough to make your instruments swing, soft foam can be placed on the wall behind both the body and the head.
If earthquakes are strong enough to make 5+ pound instruments jump off padded holders straight enough and with enough momentum to clear the tips, you have bigger fish to fry. Tell the folks on TalkQuakes I said 'what's up'.

There is truth here. Mine are hung in front of outfacing windows. I have had to train my girlfriend never to turn the fan off. It's always running on low to keep the air moving so the temps near the windows don't swing.
Are you using that company's hangers as well? If so, how do you like them? I wasn't super impressed by the looks online.
I'm using the arms provided by the company but the heads were all switched out to either Hercules or Swing String...the stock heads only seem to work well with symmetrical head stocks
they have released a new hanger since I purchased the system...and have not tried it as of yet...
