Do you hang your basses up on your wall?

Absolutely, yes. Makes them accessible at a moment’s notice.

I go to the local big-box home store and buy a plank of poplar. Then I spend an afternoon cutting notches in it and cutting braces from it, then a bit of assembly, a bit of finish, and I have spots for a few more instruments. I have made three of these so far, two hold four instruments each and the other holds five (although in the pic you can see that one spot is behind the cabinet, and therefore not available). Easy peasy!

I used to have them on the walls of my office/music room, but with nerve damage at my neck spinal cord making difficult to reach up, I moved them to a closet.

I've never seen or heard of those closet hangers before. That'd be a GREAT option for my music room setup.
