    Does this exist?

I have this pedal and it's a fantastic EQ pedal. Cycling through presets however isn't super convenient right out of the box. The main footswitch can pressed to bypass or held down to cycle through the presets. This is fine in between songs but not during a song unless you have a break to focus...

    Does this exist?

Maybe the Two Notes ReVolt? Seems to have three channels with the ability to dial each in and switch between. Can't speak to it personally though.

What is the absolute most bizarre, unusual, odd gig you ever played?

I played a show in the parking lot of a strip club that had a boxing ring in front of the stage with foxy boxing going on while girls doing roller derby circled the ring. It was also the middle of the day.

Weird idea: Pedal Actuated Foam Mute

Well you're in luck, Gamechanger Audio makes one: Plus Pedal II

    EQ Pedal

I have the Source Audio EQ2, and it is a fantastic EQ pedal. Loads of features, multiple presets, mono or stereo, and you can even use it as a wah if you connect an expression pedal. There's also a library of user presets so you can try out different curves. Definitely a lot of magic in a little...

    Warwick Thumb versus Peavey Cirrus

I've have owned several Warwicks and still have my '99 Thumb BO and a modified Fortress Rockbass. If I were in your shoes, I'd probably choose the Peavey just to have something different in my collection. If I didn't have either, I'd go with the Thumb. Regarding the neck-through vs bolt-on, I...

Amp models: bass by bass case?

I would start by checking the impedance settings on the input block for the respective patch(es) you're using. They can load load your pickups differently depending on the pickups. It's always the first thing I check when things don't sound quite right.

Is the Eventide H90 the best ?

I see the H90 as being in a different category than the Quad Cortex or Anagram. Sure they're all muti-effects units but the focus of the H90 is specific, high quality effects, while the QC and Anagram are more all-in-ones with a big focus on amp/cab/dirt modeling and captures. If you want to...

Is the Eventide H90 the best ?

Yeah Nate's demo inspired me to get the H90. Even after getting it, and downloading his presets for it, I've still gone back and listened to his demos several times. Really cool stuff.

    Guitar Doubling Live

Some good suggestions already, but I'll chime in since I've been chasing this sound for a while. What I think is really essential is parallel processing, so you can make the secondary signal sound unique from your primary bass tone. As someone mentioned, putting each signal through a dedicated...

phase 90 type pedal with bettter tracking for bass?

If you really like the Phase 90 and don't want to lose the sound, pick up a wet/dry blender pedal and mix a bit of your dry signal back in. This works well for many types of effects where you might otherwise lose some of the low end or definition from your dry bass signal.

    Sansamp into a Rumble 200

I used to have a Rumble 800 combo, and I found that the volume range of the master volume was lower than going through the built-in preamp when using the FX return as an input for an external preamp. You can likely mostly make up for it if you push the output of the external preamp enough. I...

Shout out about Wally Anderson of the Heavy Eyes

I would have but I thought that would have violated the rules of this particular sub-forum. Thanks for the backup!

Shout out about Wally Anderson of the Heavy Eyes

For the Stoner Rock fans.... His playing and tone are both great on their new album, Focus. I feel like the bass stands out and carries much of the album. It's big and fuzzy and sits really forward in the mix. Wally's riffs are commanding. I'm really enjoying listening to this album!

Headphones for the most satisfying bass tone?

This is interesting. These essentially seems like what the IK Multimedia Arc On-Ear does, tunes the headphones and simulates monitors in the room. I haven't tried it yet but want to once it supports my preferred headphones. I wonder just how much headphone choice matters (within reason) once you...
