I have not played a big gig since the early 90s, but guess that no matter how small a modern rig can be and still provide good monitoring on stage there is no accounting for a performers desire to have a powerfull looking mass of speakers behind them, I wonder if half the time they are even wired up

we do these kind of gigs with vocals (and perhaps sax) going through our PA, you have to then set the levels to the drums (or vocals if pa is weak) and that is as loud as you can be and still have an ok mix, good enough or not. The problem with this approach is if the guitarists go higher then...

Could not resist the sound of the orange 410 even though its heavy, will be gigging on friday with the little MBII head Obviously its heavy so I dont want to be lugging it to rehearsals every week but love the sound for the gigs So my question is, I would like to buy a cheaper, lighter 8hm...

Just brought an OBC410 shop soiled so at a nice price, will gig it on friday with a little mark II head, so hope the combination works well If I like it I will look for another orange cab to pair with it, and in the future perhaps try and trade my MB for the tiny terror And to think my journey...

Hi Need to run my littlemark through 2 no. 8ohm 200w pa speakers for tonight, as have not brought my cab yet Would this be safe if I dont push it to hard? If so what would be a safe max gain/volume setting? littlemark is rated at 600w at 4 ohm Thanks for any help

I am not sure how old your are but is it very honorable what you intend to do, but as has been said, talk to them first and see if selling now will change anything at this stage, best wishes

I know nothing about building instruments but do intricate toolwork for my job, and would advise if as you say replacing the neck is not an option, then having a non skilled person carry out his first fretting job on it would be a very risky decision
