Hey there. I just picked up a Sire Z3 in blue and I want to paint a pickgaurd for it. Would like to find a transparent one but so far haven't been able to find a supplier. Does anyone kno who makes after market pickgaurds for the Z3? I'd even take a standard white one at this point.

Is this still available and what is the asking price again?

Two, one Ibanez SG305 5 string (Orange sparkle with Neon orange strings for Maximum obnoxiousness) and my pride and joy EB music man sterling honeyburst unlined fretless.

Just got this one. To be clear my favorite color is...well...orange. So when I found an Orange Sparkle SR305 I had to put neon Orange strings on it and well...here it is. It's obnoxiousness is complete. :D

These are done great ideas. Thanks. I am curious about an adjustable nut. Where would I find those. I have a luthier in town that could put it on but I've never seen one.

Thinking about restringing my 5 string from E-C. Anything I should know before going down this path? Nut or neck concerns? Thanks in advance.

Just got my new SR305...in ORANGE SPARKLE. Going to put in neon orange DR strings and its obnoxiousness will be complete. May I have a number?

Yeah I'm looking at new and used. I sell fender ibanez and schecter where I work so I can use the employee discount at work on new stuff. But I'm always looking at eBay for good deals.

Ok so I tried both the jaguar squire and the ibanez sr today. Liked them both. The jag was a bit heavier. Must say a great bass for not a lot of money. The SR was lighter and it had a maple fingerboard which I like. A lot snappier. So I think I am going to go with the ibanez. Going to...

That's not a bad idea. I have one of those in our lobby I think I'll try. Have to admit I think those a bit on the fugly side but hey if it works why not right? These are great suggestions. Keep 'em coming. I will check the TB classifieds too.

Fresh pic of my setup with the new Sterling. I hope to go to my luthier this week to start modding the Sterling. We are going to do something really wild....but I can't tell you yet. If this works, a lot of people might want to mod their own Sterling like this. If it doesn't...oh well...
