Sire Z3 replacement pickguard

Hey there. I just picked up a Sire Z3 in blue and I want to paint a pickgaurd for it. Would like to find a transparent one but so far haven't been able to find a supplier. Does anyone kno who makes after market pickgaurds for the Z3? I'd even take a standard white one at this point.

I think you're going to have to get one custom made.

If yours is a 5 string and you can buy from UK's eBay, there's a seller who has made a few pickguards for me over the past few years and he'll soon have my Z3-5's pickguards as template. I'll find the link if interested. I recently got the Z3-5 in blue as well and I am hesitant between a transparent one or a single ply matt black one.

If you are in the US - find Precision Guitar on Ebay or Reverb. They are in Phoenix, AZ. You will have to send them your guard, but they will make a great pickguard for you. They did my 4-string P5R and D5 models for me and they were great to work with.

Yes. He made 2 awesome mustang pickguards for me, one with a custom WRHB pickup route. And then I tried to buy a third and he totally ghosted me and stopped responding to my messages….

Aw that is super annoying. I am sorry you had that experience. I am sad to hear that news. That is super disappointing after genuinely recommending them several times in online spaces for Sire fans.

You're much more likely to get a meaningful response if you say what part of the world you're from. I've looked at your avatar but can't see any region - maybe it's my old eyes.
Were I to assume you are from the UK then I use these guys, Custom Scratchplates & Pickguards -100% bespoke, handmade, and guaranteed to fit perfectly! - TinyTone I've used them several times and each guard has been spot on. They prefer you to send your old guard as they'll be able to match everything exactly including screw holes.
There is a guy on Ebay who is supposed to be really good by the name of earlpilanz. I've not used him as his shop was shut due to moving home when I wanted a PG so I went to Tinytone and have used them ever since. If you are in the Americas then I believe EP and Tinytone will ship to the States etc.
There must be tons of US PG makers so do a little research on reviews if you are in the States, you'd probably get better VFM from stateside suppliers rather than the UK ones as you'd have to pay shipping to the UK for your existing PG then shipping back.
If you are in Europe then unfortunately tinytone do not ship there because of the red tape that Brexit has caused.Don't know about earlpilanz. Again look at local suppliers if you are in Europe, Asia or Oceania.
Note that to put a bog standard MM pickguard on the Z3 wont work as it's a different shape and the truss rod adjustment cut out will be different too.

That's the guy in the UK that I've used a few times, 'earlpilanz' on eBay. Good work and fast turnaround. I'll send him my Z3-5 pickguard next week (traveling currently) so he'll have a template for that
