I got to say Carvin puts out an very solid product for the money. They are very sterile(not much coloring at all of your tone) so if thats your thing then they work perfectly.

Mesa: As said before fat, classic tone but with still retaining some clarity, amazingly well built, expensive(unless you manage to buy used) GK: Solid state giants, growling rock tone, great value for the money. Genz Benz: Good quality, portabilliy. Hartke: affordabillity(thats about it)...

Thats an easy problem to fix I just got a GK 1001RB/2x12 combo and I got it to save some money from buying the head and cab seperately, and then I just took the head out of the combo shaved it down a bit and bam I've got a GK 1001RB head and GK 2x12 Neo Cabinet.

Especially considering that almost everyone on TB is a Markbass fanboy. :hiding:
