Spector Rex 4 Holoflash?

Anyone have any experience with it? What would you rate it, scale 1-10? I've done a lot of research, and I'm really considering getting this bass. It's between this, an ATK750 Koa and a Lakland Skyline 44-01. Also, is Spector considered "high-end"? If so, this would be my first high-end type bass

Spector basses have a very good reputation. If that bass sounds anything like all the other Spectors it would be hard to go wrong... unless you decide to be like the guy in the picture and play through a giant behringer rig.

I have a 5 that I like a lot. There are 2 versions of electronics, 1 with a Spector active tone circuit and the other has an EMG BTC. The EMG sounds far superior to me. You can take off the control cavity cover to check. If it's the Spector, you could always put the EMG in.

Spectors are great Basses - I own three because when I bought the first one I was so impressed. Get it you'll love it
