    Show me your pedalboard

I've been meaning to post this for a while now so here goes... this has been my main config for some time. The most recent change was a swap out of the original Empress ParaEQ for the new model with the LPF and HPF. The chain is: Tuner -> Tri Parallel Mixer -> ParaEQ -> Becos Stella Channel...

    Your Work on Bandcamp...GO!

My really weird or bad or just not great attempt at some stoner rock stuff. I was living in Ann Arbor and attempted this project right as the pandemic hit which that plus my eventual move back to NY killed the whole thing - this wasn't finished or polished or anything. Super fuzzy bass...

Stacking GR Bass Aerotech (Carbon Fiber) Speaker Cabinets (e.g. AT 212 - AT115)

I stack two TC RS210s and use a square of this kind of non-slip carpet pad between them: https://www.target.com/p/comfort-grip-plush-rug-pad-ivory-8211-mohawk-home/-/A-14070171 I'm sure it's just psychological but I feel like they're more secure that way. Like I said I'm sure it's just all in...

    Shawn May Custom Basses

I lived in Ann Arbor for a while and had the honor of meeting him in person and seeing his shop (he did some leveling for me on a fretless). Besides his talent for working wood, he's a super nice person. He's delightful.

    Blasted Career Ender

There are some really great stick on side dots out there like the Jockomo Inlay Stickers. I've had really good luck with them and they've held up well over the years.

Nordstrand big blade vs zen blade for the neck and big single vs big split for the neck

I had Big Blades Warm and Wooly and grew weary of the single coil noise so I swapped them out for Zens and couldn't be happier. I did add one switch per pickup to switch them between parallel and series. I've mostly settled into the neck being parallel and the bridge being series, but I do...

    The LGBT Bass Players Club!

Not sure how long any of my posts will remain. The response to the closing of the other thread (one which I did not start), was enough to make me request my account be deleted. I've been a paying member since 2008. TB was once a good resource but now... it's day is diminished. I'm sorry to...

    The LGBT Bass Players Club!

Just checking in here... Saw another "fringe" thread closed for review and wanted to make sure this one is still open. Glad to see, hope everyone is well.

    Creepiest Album Covers

This is disturbingly the best thread ever.

    Stage presence ?

I've been known to get a keyboardist off their stool and bouncing... And ya, I know I'm a big ol' goof.

GK MB112-2 Red light power on, no blue light, no sound

Here's a pic I took when I removed the part. Sorry, I feel bad that I didn't document the whole process. It really is a snap.

GK MB112-2 Red light power on, no blue light, no sound

@friskinator ya easy. No soldering. You do need some silicon thermal grease for where the one sensor is in contact with the edgemost coil. It's cheaply available on Amazon. You also need a small cable tie, but no big deal.

GK MB112-2 Red light power on, no blue light, no sound

No spills for me. MB-112 lives in my living room as a practice amp and rarely, very rarely leaves the room much less the house. Amp was purchased just about 5 years ago and last Saturday, Feb 8 2020, red light of death... Don't know why the ICE module failed, but Full Compass and $90 got me a...
