It's a good little amp. I use it mostly at church. Very clean and clear. But personally I prefer my genz benz streamliner 600. For gigs. Especially after having agedhorse upgrade it. Just my personal opinion

For my personal experience a good cable works the best. No interference no tone loss. Wireless is convenient but I don't trust it. I use a bass specific Lava cable. 10 ft. Zero problems.

Ditto on the elixirs. Been playing them for years never had a bad set and they last a long time

A friend of mine has an Aguilar tone hammer amp. He would like to know if it could be used as a direct box to go to the mixer and then through the the mains and monitor. He's getting tired of hauling bass cabs. I've got a pair of Genz Benz amps that work like that

The whole incident might be a blessing in disguise. I get booted out of a band once because of a jealous husband who thought I was hitting on his wife who played keyboard. In hindsight it was a big blessing. I went on to play with a couple of old guys like me and we had a ball for years
