I'm interested in this as well. I've been interested in this head but worried about the OP's issue. I just bought a Neox 212T and wow this cab is bright and articulate. I thought my Eden tube head would be perfect with this cab but now I wonder if something fatter sounding the the Streamliner...

I use Fender 410PRO cabs. 1 or 2 depending on venue. They sit under an Eden E300T.

What Winston said about the gain. Eden WT amps sound the best when set according to the manual- which is how winston described it. Gain set to where the loudest note barley clips the preamp.

Got a couple of the Fenders. One slant one straight. I like 'em quite a bit. Old school flavor and the tweeter sounds good. And they're relatively light for a 410. Don't think you can buy them new anymore though. Never played the other two.

I have a question for you cab / freq experts. It's frequently stated here that most cabs with tweeters have a hole where the speaker gives up and the tweeter comes in. How does a cab like the Berg NV 610 overcome this problem? It's rated up to 5K. Aren't most tweeters crossed over at 3 or 3.5...

The 800 is a stereo head- it has two amps. You could run cabs off each side at lower output per side or "bridge" the two sides together for more output- like making one big amp. 3db headroom means the amp can handle a power spike twice the given watt rating. That amp and cab combination should...

Can you just add another 210xlt? Pretty efficient cabs. Two of them stacked vertically would get you there.

Just did my 3rd show w/ that configuration. +1 Ken on the EQing AND tweeter level. Once those adjustments were made I became a convert. My drummer is way excited about the change in stage sound.

Been in a trio for 6 years now. I was freaked out at first but have come to really dig it. Lot of sonic space- that cuts both ways. Gotta be on your game.
