If I plug the Para into my Focusrite 2i2 USB Audio Interface using a standard instrument cable, do I set the output switch to INST or LINE?

Can it give you that “grind” / “gritty” tone? I’m just looking to have it add some dirt. I might pair it up with a bass distortion pedal that way I have my gritty bass tone and then full on distortion.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I bought it new. I noticed if I start with the wah into my MXR M80 it’ll sound good, tone wise, but have a weak sweep. If I start the chain with my MXR into the wah, the sweep is there but it sounds clean. I basically want a distorted wah tone with a big sweep.
