    Cross-Over (Crossover or Splitter) pedals

Nice and chuggtastic, though I’m going to try a Mesa Gold Mine next, chasing that John Petrucci Boogie mk IIC+ tone. The Knuckles is pretty badass though.

What's coming and going XVIII: (We Don't Need) Rehab

Just arrived, the Knuckles lives up to the hype. Haven’t tried the app yet.

    Making a Wal clone

Took me a while but I finally tried some 45-105 Pure Blues on my neck-thru Kiesel. I just put them on and I’m letting that neck settle overnight before I redo the setup, had an old set of the TI Jazz flats on it previously, but they sound great so far! The E string has something that reminds me...

Wonder if Eventide will sue them and force a name change

Casio Dimension Shifter - Expression pedal reimagined.

I remember seeing this during NAMM. One cool thing is that you can use it to change presets too

    XO Variable Crossover

It’s definitely my favorite crossover, easily the widest range of tonal possibilities compared to those other two pedals even without the clean blend, which really puts it in a league of its own in terms of tone shaping. The XO can do what the other two do, and then some.

    Korn Right Now

Do you remember what kind of strings he used? The consensus seems to be Dean Markley strings during that era but I’m curious what that article said. String brand makes a huge difference, even with basic roundwounds, if you’re trying to match someone’s tone.

Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Its artwork brings a can of Cactus Cooler to mind, one of the best sodas ever, so that’s high praise:

    Making a Wal clone

After a lot more adjusting and fine-tuning, I’m as close as I’m going to get and it’s been great. I’m using these pedals that I already owned, any VTDI owners can take note of those settings, though mine is Putnam modded with a mid freq sweep. Honestly the Bite switch gets you 60% there, I...

Tech 21 Geddy Lee Amalgamation Chorus (What in the Geddy is this?)

Sounds good! All analog, Geddy will be using it as an always-on with the Deviate switch for more pronounced chorus.

    New Hotone pitch shifter, Freqlux

No demos yet but he’s claiming less than 5 milliseconds of latency.
