What's the layout of the knobs?

It's touching against the wall where the tone knob is. It's like it's too long to fit. I've put some black tape there to help with the grounding. It's helped some but I still don't have full use of the pot.

I have looked at the audere. I thought about it when getting the retro but I caught a deal on the retro and got it instead. I wish sadowsky had something with a mid control.

I can't help with the neck but I know when I put Bart's in my active jazz it had very similar tone to what I had heard in smooth jazz. It was actually too much for my style of music so I switched them. It still sounded good though. Good luck!
