    Owning Two Exact Same Basses

Go for it if you love it and it plays well. Put rounds on one, flats on the other forever and maybe do some cosmetic changes like black hardware or a different pick guard. Now you have me contemplating! 🤣

Looking For The Right P/J 5....

The BBP is probably one of the best options. If I were to ever part with my Sandberg VM5, I'd go for the Yamaha without hesitation. They are awesome instruments. IMO, it's best to pay the money for the BBP35, as the quality, playability and tone are unmatched compared to the less expensive versions.

    NBD! American Professional II P

For sure! Just have to play them before buying in most cases. It is super annoying when you try out a brand new bass for $2k+ and it just sucks. I spent a good 30 minutes with the used one I got over the weekend to make sure it was good to go. I recently grabbed a MIJ Marcus Miller from...

    NBD! American Professional II P

They are great. Sold a Yamaha BB because I was looking for the entire P bass experience, on Sunday. Grabbed a mint Pro II P from a used dealer where I live for an amazing price. Such a great sound and feel, just a very solid P bass. Enjoy it man! I recorded a rough draft of a cover I'm working...

    Bergantino "super" stack

Just popping in to say I recently acquired an NXT212 and it’s insanely loud and punchy with the B Amp. Literally blows me away. Sounds like your rig will be a beast.

    Audio (MP3/WAV) to Tablature Converter

The guy seems to have a great idea. Might not make tens of millions but I'm sure he'll find enough of a market with this. Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

    Audio (MP3/WAV) to Tablature Converter

Likewise, I hope so too. If so, they will have a great business, that's for sure.

    Audio (MP3/WAV) to Tablature Converter

Thank you. Does GP8 actually creat the tab from an audio file or do you have to do that yourself?

Fret size, what is the illure to jumbo frets?

Good point for sure. The basses that I have now all have smaller frets and are far more comfortable than the vintage-tall or jumbo variety. Easier to play and capable of lower action. I recently acquired a Marcus Miller signature from a fellow TB'er and it's got smaller frets, which seems rare...

When it comes to the big B, how much of a difference does an inch make?

I don’t play short scale basses but I do have a. 34” Sandberg VM5 and a 35” USA Lakland 5514. Both have exceptional B strings but I do think the Lakland edges out the Sandberg, slightly. I was surprised that there wasn’t more difference to be honest. Ampmaster (correct spelling?) makes short...

I'm pretty much at my wits end with the band leader of my band and I'm starting to consider throwing the towel

There are 3 criteria for being in a band as a side thing. - Good Hang - Goid Music - Good Money Without at least two, just bounce. Life is too short.

Anyone using a Bergantino Super Pre Pedal into a Bergantino Head

I am very happy with my B Amp tone and NXT212. I did consider throwing my Sansamp in for tone shaping but don’t really need it. Less fuss and great tone, in my opinion.
