I used it tonight in rehearsal for the first time. Not only is it loud enough, it has way more bottom end than the ampeg ever did. It fits perfectly. Couldn't be more pleased.

you don't need a separate di box with that amp. all you need to do is plug an xlr cable into the di jack, and plug the other end into whatever audio interface you have running with your computer. the POST EQ means that the signal being sent out the di will be affected by whatever your EQ setting...

I put on the Chromes this morning and they seem fine, I like them quite a bit actually. Still have yet to try it through an amp, but I think they aren't going to break at least.

I agree about the chromes, although the metal wound portion is under the silk at that spot. And it turns out that my nut isn't wide enough to fit the La Bella behemoth of a E string anyways (.115!) Maybe I'll take those back and try some other stuff out
