Hello again, what can you say about recording with only the tech 21 BDDI DI?

I have the squire vintage modified jazz bass, which probably is passive, and I plan on buying the presonus audiobox. Would I have to get a separate DI-box for the best sound?

Will I get a much more horrible tone if I don't have a DI-box in between the instrument and an audio interface?

It was quite easy song, so I tabbed all of it, you can double check then. I'll add it to UG too.

Is it of any use or benefit when I memorize the whole bassline, using the first method given in my first post?
