I play metal, and I process all my sound (including the noise gate) through my Boss GX10. I’ve had various noise gates in the past (mostly in multi-effects units), and the one included in the Boss is the best so far.

From my own experience, the Ibanez SR design is peak in terms of ergonomics, weight, and neck profile (for me, as I said). Go get another SR, lol!

What about a Boss Katana 210? Enough power, with 3 amp voicings and effects? You can get an additional 6-switch footswitch and an expression pedal, and you can control the whole thing.

As a user of Ibanez SR basses and Boss multi-FX units, I LOVE your setup.

I just realized that Boss released an update and they are REMOVING THE POLYPHONIC TUNER, which I use every single day. I simply can't understand what they are doing, but I refuse to update my unit.
