Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

That seems to match the behavior I’m seeing with the True Spring.

I guess it’s working. There’s just zero visual indication on the pedal, not even a change from red to green.

That's good to know. Any idea why my True Spring isn't responding to PC messages at all, only CC?

Yeah, I’m aware of that on the older pedals. In my case, it’s just not responding to PC commands at all. I believe True Spring has 6 preset slots on the pedal alone and that’s what I’ve been trying to test against.

Correct. I’ve confirmed it isn’t switching.

Hi all, I’m wondering if someone is able to assist me. I’m using a Source Audio MIDI Adapter with my True Spring. I can get the True Spring to respond to CC commands, but not PC. I’ve been testing by sending PC 3, but the control light never blinks. My True Spring has the most recent firmware.

New MXR Bass Synth pedal coming in July teaser…

Well, my pedal was supposed to be delivered today... I was home all day, UPS was here earlier, but didn't deliver it then. They came back after the apartment office was closed and then did this... How can they mark it as the second attempt when it was the first attempt?

    Broughton Audio Super Thread

I think I was mistaken before. When I had e-mailed Josh about it a few weeks ago, he suggested I might be overloading the output buffer. And I thought what I was initially hearing was worse at higher voltages, but it's actually slightly better. I like a lot of sustain in the my Big Muff...

It’s just my passive P bass straight into the pedal. I’ve even tested it with my amp out of the equation direct into my recording interface.

I need a bit of sanity check here. I'm struggling with the Calamity to where notes start getting super squished and choked. This is with a passive P bass and the pedal in silicon mode at 9V (it's more pronounced at higher voltages). I find that anything above noon on the fuzz knob quickly...

    Genzler Amplification Club

Wanted to mention that I’m firmly in the Genzler camp now. I picked up a BA2-410-3 over the weekend to go with my Kinetix 800 and I’m loving it. Now I’m just patiently waiting for the 410-3 can cover to come back in stock so I can protect my investment.

Just purchased the Magellan Pre to run into the aux input of my Kinetix 800 for my synth. :hyper:

Well, my Kinetix 800 arrived and I couldn’t be more stoked! For never having owned Genzler before, I am incredibly pleased at the possible sounds and thoughtfulness off all the features that went into this amp. Thanks Jeff!

Is there any benefit of an SLT/SLT stack over an STR/SLT stack?
