The only issue with the GR Cabs (Carbon Fibre over 'composite') is that while light weight - and I agree these Cabs sound fantastic (I had a GR410+) - don't bump it, or drop it, or drag it. The corners fall off, the composite falls out, the feet fall off.

Do you still have your P-Lyte? I have one almost identical - I need some pics of the wiring - mine isn't right....

Very nice - I have a Fender P-Lyte almost the same in tobacco sunburst. Any chance you could send me clear pics of your wiring in the back? I know very hard to tak pics - but I am having problems where my battery is lasting only a couple of hours so must be bleeding out (no plug in it)

Ahh I have a P-Lyte Std, I believe it is a 2000, but could be wrong. It has a battery bleed issue in that a new battery only lasts a short time (no, not plugged in). I think someone has botched some wiring inside. If anyone on here has a wiring diagram, or pics of a working STD - would be...

Did a thorough check. Seems to be wired s per your diagram, hard to tell with the ribbons between the pre-amps. Another problem I forgot to mention is that compared to all (even passive) other Basses, it is very quiet. I have a Yamaha Mixing desk, and most basses are set around the 3 mark...

Dear All, have read several posts on here, dating back centuries... :) Not quite found what I need. I recently acquired a 1991, Tobacco-Burst P-Lyte, verrrry nice. Sounds like it should, feels great, weighs not much. But... it seems to eat batteries.... and currently has a touchy input jack...
