Dear All, I just bought the Zoom B3 - and the FP02M. Have had a look at them and am wondering the best way to fix them to a pedal board. Was wondering if anyone had.
I hate having to unpack them, lay the out, plug them in etc.... would just like to be able to place the board and play!
They each have rather large 'feet' which makes using Velcro (Hook & Loop) more difficult than other pedals.
Am thinking to use the corner base panel screw holes, if I can find screws that will fit with the right length.
Any ideas?

One thing I don't get guys, is the 'it's plastic so I doubt its durability for road/live gigs'. I've still got my original zoom from 1994/5/?, the subsequent and smaller version 2, and my b1on from a few years back and unless I decide to go all John Cena on their asses, they are still as working and functional as they were back in the mid-late 90s,with hundreds of gigs under their belts, as when I got them. I don't overly baby them but I don't use them for wedges under my tyres either. I just don't see/haven't had a problem with the hard, durable plastic casings in over 20 years. I've also got the MS60B which is basically the B1on in an inconvenient but radiation proof case which doesn't see the light of day for gigs nowadays. YMMV

Plus quality of sound is light years ahead of anything remotely comparable available on the market, especially for bassists, in a multi-fx form and the pricing is a crime against humanity for what you get so although I'll never sell my Korg G5 synth fx, would kill for an Akai SB1 under a grand and respect the effing hell out of all the new entrants into the market, I'll stay with zoom a little longer. My 2c. Cheers

Hello @gleneg61 I get where you are coming from but have to say that both my original 506 and 607 had developed issues that made me want to reluctantly retire them, the plastic cases are still intact and I am a big footed heavy guy that put them both through the ringer. The 506 was in constant action until a shower courtesy of a drunken idiot, shook the fellow down for 50 bucks and bought the 607. The 506 still works but the display does not function properly. The 607 was a beast for a long time until the in/out jacks were broken after being trod upon by a clodh0pper wearing drunken fool. Said Fool also subsidized my purchase of the B2.1u. The 607 sadly is a gonner as the circuit board was also cracked but it looks nice on my Zoom tribute shelf.

First time I used a fairly standard Bassman emulation. This time round I alternated between the standard SVT and a B15 fliptop emulation that had been posted into one of the zoom threads, depending on the style and era of the song involved.

That was fun. No problems at all - except leaving my power cord at home, lucky I took some batteries for backup.

I´m a proud owen of a Zoom B3 (member list please?). Sometimes I spend more time tweaking a effect than playing but in the end it pleases me. I have my zoom b3 tuned for my necessities (a big thanks to Cristalman85 for sharing awesome patches!).

I have adquired the expression pedal and it suits well. I was wondering if the MS-60B or B1.ON would be a great addition to the B3 or if it´s better to have the B3 solo. Thanks

Welcome @_sky_ ! Adding more Zoom or other effects all depends on what your needs are and it is something I am constantly grappling with. The good thing is the B3 and most Zoom effects play well with others so there is no issue there to experiment.
I have used it as a stand alone and with other effects depending on what is needed.

Currently I am experimenting with a small board using a B3 with an expression pedal into a MS60B into a stereo DI. This particular band I have no need for any fuzz* but have a lot of freedom to be creative so this is perfect. The B3 is used for different effects and the MS60B is used for my main amp tone or always on sounds, usually Limiter/Bassman/Room reverb. To that I may add some stereo modulation, EQ or change the ambient effect. I have a separate line that goes to a xp booster into a UniBass for octave up into a MS100Bt for stereo effects and also a dry signal that all gets mixed.

*Everyone else uses lots of distortion so I decided to stay mean and clean to cut thru the mess.

I had the ideia of using the B3 for Amp simulation and Compression+Noise reduction and the MS-60B for other effects (chorus, overdrive, Muff, Envelope Filter, etc...). For the moment I will just use the B3 alone plus the FP02M.

The B3 is just an amazing pedal.

Thanks - yes, I worked that out, but I mean while still playing, with no effects, would like to toggle through settings to be ready for next song. Unfortunately when change patch they kick straight in

Ok after using the B2.1u as my amp (basically) using XLR (and 1/4" once) into a little mixer... I'm being evicted from the mixer.
About 3 weeks to go for our next show, our biggest and most important yet.
So I'm scrambling around trying to figure out what the best way forward is.

Having a lunch break now and the thought occurred to me "Can the Zoom B2.1u handle using both a line out to an amp and the XLR out at the same time?

( If I drag my amp into service neither of them have a DI or XLR out; if I can arrange a bigger mixer sometime in the future maybe I can use my amp/cab as a monitor. )
